Tell us about your love story!
"Seth proposed at Cathedral Square Park in Milwaukee. He asked me to marry him, even if he “only had a paper ring” and then opened a ring box with an origami ring (made by my mom). The question was a reference to the Taylor Swift song “Paper Rings” (I’m a BIG Swiftie, so this was a hit with me, obviously)."
What is one thing you wish you knew when planning your wedding?
"Advice I saw online (far too late) was to identify the components of the wedding that are most important to both individuals before setting your budget so you know how to prioritize where to splurge accordingly. This would’ve saved us so many long conversations!"
What was your experience like at Premiere Couture?
"My experience Premiere Couture was better than I could have imagined. The “dream dress interview” phone call in advance of my appointment made the experience feel so special before I even walked in the door. I was honestly terrified to go dress shopping because I’m very self-conscious, but my stylist, Jerica, listened to every comment about what I liked and didn’t like and helped me find the dress of my dreams. All of my worries melted away after she helped me try on that first dress!"
What was your favorite moment of your wedding?
"We took a few minutes while everyone was dancing during our reception to just look at everything we'd been working on for the last 11 months. We knew we'd likely never see all of our closest friends and family in one room again and we wanted to soak in every second of it."
