Our last blog of the year couldn't be dedicated to a more beautiful and awesome bride! We loved how Ali and Zach's "random trips to the zoo and for ice cream" turned into marriage! What a fun foundation upon which to build their lives! Congrats Ali & Zach!!!
PC:Tell us about your love story.
Ali: We actually met through a dating app in college. After talking for a bit, we got together for coffee and everything seemed to fall into place after that. Random trips to the zoo and for ice cream turned into now marriage. Zach proposed by taking me up to a wildlife preserve near his hometown to "take some fall colors photographs." I was taking some pictures and turned around to him on one knee. It was beautiful and intimate with just us and his parents.
PC: Where did you get married?
Ali: Riverstone Restaurant and Wedding Venue in Fort Atkinson
PC: What is one thing you wish you knew when planning your wedding?
Ali: I wish I would've known to start double checking that I had everything before the last two weeks before. Thank goodness for Amazon haha.
PC: What advice would you give brides?
Ali: Remember that it is your day. Don't let other people and their opinions change or ruin the plans that the two of you have. You will feel SO much better if you do the things you and your fiance want instead of catering to everyone else.
PC: What was your experience like at Premiere Couture?
Ali: I loved my experience at Premiere Couture. I had given some ideas before I arrived and they had already pulled a few dresses that they thought were close to what I described. I felt beautiful and listened to with every dress I tried on and quickly found the perfect one. (Are we the luckiest shop in the world or what??)
PC: What was your favorite moment of your wedding?
Ali: Our favorite part of our wedding was a tie between our first dance and playing the Shoe Game afterwards. Lots of love and laughs.
