Abby & Chris

Their romance started with a Camaro and he proposed with that same car! Abby & Chris's wedding in Key West, Florida, was as beautiful as their story is awesome!

Tell us your love story:

We met at a car event. My 68 Camaro broke and he helped fix it. My broken car is how we met and our passion for muscle cars is what brought us together. He used that same 68 Camaro to propose. He disconnected the battery without telling me so when I tried to start it, it wouldn't start. When I went to look under the hood there was a ring box. So he temporarily "broke" my car to propose which is fitting because that is how we met.

Where was the wedding?

We got married in Key West, FL on Smathers Beach

What is one thing you wish you knew when planning your wedding?

I wish I would have known more about the marriage license process. I was so worried about every other detail, I don't think I properly researched the marriage license part.

What advice would you give brides?

Advice for other brides: It is too easy to get caught up in whatever one else wants. Me and my husband stuck to our guns of what we wanted out of our wedding. Just by following that simple rule I truly believe everyone around us was happier, we were happier and we have no regrets.

What was your experience like at Premiere Couture?

Originally I wasn't going to get a wedding dress because of the cost and hassle, my sisters are the ones who convinced me to get a dress. Premiere Couture took care of everything. Before arriving all the dresses that would be shipped in time, fit my budget and style were ready for me to try on. I found the right dress quickly and for less than expected. They were my first stop and only stop for wedding dress shopping

What was your favorite moment of your wedding?

When everything came together. My hair, makeup, dress, jewelry, bouquet, location, the officiant, and all the people in attendance. I came walking up the arch and it looked beautiful. The ceremony started and my friend did wrote a perfect ceremony, totally tailored to my husband and I. And then like the entire day there was not one moment of drama, everyone was laughing and having a genuinely good time.
